1. Who Can Use Shookio
Users must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate account information, and keep login information safe. Companies are responsible for who they invite or keep on their team.
2. Company and Worker Accounts
Company accounts manage company data, jobs, workers, schedules, invoices, estimates, tools, fleet, and settings.
Worker accounts connect to a company by invite or request. For MVP, a worker can only be connected to one active company at a time. Companies can have multiple workers.
Workers do not own the company account or company records. If a worker leaves or is removed, business records may stay with the company.
3. Trial and Subscriptions
Shookio may offer a 14-day free trial. Checkout may collect a payment method up front, but there is no charge until after the trial if that trial is available. After the trial, continued use may require a paid subscription. Plan details, prices, and billing terms will be shown before payment is collected.
Workers do not pay for company subscriptions. Companies are responsible for subscription and payment when billing is enabled. Pricing can change with notice.
4. Acceptable Use
Users may not use Shookio for illegal activity, try to access another company's data, attack or overload the app, scrape the app, send spam, upload harmful code, misuse invitations or accounts, or enter information they do not have permission to use.
5. Jobs, Customer Information, and Records
Companies are responsible for job and customer information they enter. Shookio helps organize records but does not verify that job details are true or complete. Users should check records before sending invoices, estimates, or customer messages.
6. Time Cards and Pay
Shookio helps track time entries, breaks, and gross time summaries. Shookio is not a payroll provider. Shookio does not calculate taxes, withholdings, wage compliance, overtime compliance, or final payroll obligations. Companies are responsible for payroll, labor-law compliance, and reviewing time records.
7. Estimates and Invoices
Shookio helps create estimates and invoices. Companies are responsible for prices, taxes, payment terms, accuracy, and compliance with laws that apply to their business.
8. Customer Sign-Offs
Customer sign-offs are stored as job records and proof of completion information. A sign-off does not guarantee payment, legal enforceability, or that a dispute cannot happen.
9. Tools and Fleet
Tools and fleet features help companies track equipment, vehicles, inspections, maintenance, and assignments. Companies remain responsible for safety, inspections, licensing, insurance, and legal compliance.
10. Availability and Changes
Shookio may change, improve, pause, or remove features. Shookio may have downtime. The app is provided as available, and we do not promise uninterrupted service.
11. Account Suspension or Termination
Shookio may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse, security risk, nonpayment when billing is enabled, violation of these Terms, or legal reasons.
12. Disclaimers
Shookio is provided as-is and as-available. We work to make it useful and reliable, but we do not promise it will be error-free or fit every business need.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Shookio is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, lost profits, lost business, or lost data related to use of the service.
14. Changes to Terms
Shookio may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the Last updated date on this page.
